This was my first one-on-one photoshoot with Theresa. We agreed on a list of images we wanted to try. Theresa knew of a perfect location. The lighting was soft and perfect, no need for strobes.
This was one of the last shots of the evening. The light was fading, casting nice shadows across the wall. Theresa waited patiently while I fumbled with my tripod.
I looked up for just a second and caught this frame, cocked the shutter, and popped-off one shot before she noticed I was ready.

Beautiful shot of Theresa, I agree that sometimes candids really are the most pleasing to look at. A unguarded moment captured on camera has such a nice peaceful look to it.

Yeah, it is a somewhat awkward composition. But I'm not sure if I would've done it differently.
