Animazement 2014

Animazement 2015 is coming up this Memorial Day weekend. Here's a look back at some of my favorite shots from last year's event.

More photos and technical info after the jump.

Photo-fire

I have a habit of shooting a partial roll of film then switching out to a different roll. I usually write on the tap/canister when and how many images were shot. But for some reason a didn't do that this time and ended up double exposing several frames.

Loosing the images in itself is disappointing, but creating something unexpected is always a treat.

The first set of images were shot while in line for Obama's last NC rally before the election (we were too far back to get in). The second set of images is of Paige at a First Friday gallery showing.

Oddly enough, this is not the first time i've accidentally exposed an image of Paige over an image relating to Obama (seen here)...

Behind a YWCA and across from a new apartment complex sits an little known historic negro cemetery.

It's well beyond disrepair. It's downright disrespectful the way this place has been allowed to degrade.
